I am hoping that many of you will love my novel 'Of All Faiths & None'. In the autumn of 1910 Edwin Lutyens, the renowned architect, receives a letter from Sir Julius Drewe for the commission of a castle on Dartmoor – Castle Drogo. Lutyens’ design for the castle focusses on both the past and the present and reflects Britain, which at that moment is in a state of flux. His daughter, Celia, becomes enamoured with the project dreaming of chivalry and heroism. The following year Edwin Lutyens and his family are invited to a stone laying ceremony at Castle Drogo. Celia meets Sir Julius’ children: Adrian, Christian and Basil. Adrian is staying at a farm next to where the castle is to be built and that evening a fire breaks out. Adrian runs into a blaze to rescue a trapped farmer and it is from this point that Celia’s infatuation with Adrian develops. The novel moves to 1914, and the start of the Great War. Christian Drewe is returning from Austria where he has been working as an artist. Adrian enlists on the day war is declared driven by his sense of duty. Chrisian has reservations as to joining up, unconvinced that the war was either necessary or right. Matters come to a head when he is handed a white feather – the sign of a coward.
The story moves from the battlefields of France and Flanders and back to London and to Castle Drogo, where the characters are reunited for brief periods. Faith and love are stretched to their limits as each character is affected by the relentless brutality of the war. Of All Faiths & None is the story of a lost generation. It is a novel that focuses on the relationships of the characters until those relationships are shattered. It is a coming-of-age tale and a social commentary on the tragedy of a needless war.

Was this the onset of dementia? Would I ever have a proper conversation with him again? This was the last conversation Will had with his father James. While it made no sense at the time, a chance discovery made while cleaning out his father’s apartment opened up a whole new part of James’s life that Will had not known, filled with adventure and new relationships. From Lithuania in 1991, and the backdrop of ‘Bloody Sunday’ in Vilnius, we travel with Will all the way to the present day through his own family’s history as he learns more about his father and in turn, more about their own relationship.

That’s where I was eleven years ago, after having just graduated from law school.
Broken, cast away, flailing my arms aimlessly under the waters of failure, rejection and sadness, with the heaviness stemming from choices I had made tormenting me. Looking back, I see that I flailed for a long time without the full resolve to go upwards, because somewhere in the back of my mind, I believed I deserved to sink.
During that time, during my darkest days, I could not see the light to end my night. I certainly could not have fathomed the thought of being a light. I could only see pain.
And rain steadily pitter-pattered on my heart.

Why I wrote the book 'Brother Broken', and a book description:A duck hunter, a professor and a biker walk into a bar . . .
. . . well, not exactly a bar . . . more like a story.
These aren't just three random guys, they are brothers . . . my brothers.
Their story begins in the 1950s and 60s, in a village, in Saskatchewan, somewhere north of normal. It's not one that's dark or depressing, it's a story of hope and gratitude, with a touch of ridiculous. Some parts are complicated, because there is nothing straightforward pertaining to broken.
I remember my brothers with words, I share the story of their lives. l tell of what decent boys they were, what they meant to me, how their lives were ordinary and sound before all the trouble started happening. I write, so people will learn the goodness of my parents, the wholesomeness of my extended family, that my kin weren't lowbrow hicks who screwed-up raising kids.
Small town Saskatchewan couldn't be further from the spotlight. It's a great place to store secrets. A great place to fly under the wire. An even better place to get away with indiscretions. But you won't find evidence of wrongdoing. It's been buried for years and no pickaxe is durable enough to dig up a clue. But rest assured, you may find a lesson worth learning¾one used to protect future generations.

My diverse upbringing in the 1970s, influenced by my family's Puerto Rican roots and migration from Spain, profoundly shaped my perspective on life. This unique backdrop has fueled the narratives I create, blending personal experiences with fantastical elements.
I am thrilled to share that I have published my first novel, "Destroyer," part of the "Guardians of Life" series. This fantasy tale interweaves the challenges of my family's journey with magical realism, reflecting themes of struggle, resilience, and understanding.
