Accurate review. Reflects my thoughts exactly. Great subjects, well researched, but unfortunately presented with plodding, subpar writing.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. For all that, Amore had writing help for his first book, Stealing Rembrandts: The Untold Stories of Notorious Art Heists , so you might like that one better.
