I'm sorry the Dead Pennies didn't work for you, and I guess that's the nature of any sort of "art" though it's always "negative" reviews that push authors to improve their future work and efforts, so I'll certainly take a lot of your comments and thoughts to heart in the future.
Usually I don't really comment but a few things confused me greatly in your comments.
Hayden wasn't mistaken in calling Abby "Lucy"... it's a pop culture reference to Lucille Ball and the phrase that her husband Ricky used to use on the show. "Lucy, I'm home."
And your comment about Australia made me open up the manuscript because I was very, VERY confused about that. There's one reference to Australia in the entire book...in reference to a bottle of Tommy Ruff wine.
