Fix my new book posted to other author > Likes and Comments

Hi! I’m Melissa ferguson and my upcoming book, THE PERFECT ROM-COM, is attributed to the wrong person. Can someone please fix? Is there possibly also any way to fix this ongoing issue I’ve had with 10 of my books in the past four years? I’d so appreciate it!! :)

Next time please provide the ISBN/ASIN of said book as well, not just a title (there might be several books with the same or very similar title which makes it difficult to search for it).

Also - no. There is basically no way to fix the issue. There are several authors that have the same name as you do (the only way to differentiate between them is to add more space between the name and the surname), and books that are auto-imported from Amazon are transferred directly to the default profile (profile with only one space between the names).

The only way to prevent it from happening is either to be quicker and add the books before the Amazon bot does it for you or change your name on Amazon to match the one on Goodreads (otherwise the bot has no way of knowing which Melissa Ferguson wrote that specific book). But I have been told by several author that it would look ridiculous on Amazon so I guess that is not really an option either :D
