Hi, Betty, I know where I received my law degree with honors 42 years ago and I know where I've practiced law (San Diego) since 1998. I also know what I and my children experienced in the San Diego Family law court system from 1995 until 2009 and I'm consequently quite familiar with both California Family Law and the difficulties battered women face in the judicial system here. And yes, this is a tight, clique ridden bar and yes appellate justices do bend over backward (and not just in San Diego) to affirm the trial court judges. And I know that because I've handled over 450 appeals in the past 26 years. And yes, there was a judicial corruption scandal investigated by the FBI here in SD the early 1990s. And yes, in the legal world, those who work together do sometimes fall in love. That's neither ridiculous nor far fetched. And I personally have never read a romantic suspense novel with a full and accurate account of a murder trial. Have you? Which one? And where did you call got to law school? And where do you practice?
