Marla Himeda You are so very welcome, and thank YOU for such a moving, wonderful review! I'm 72, have written for decades, but never had the time to publish anything until now, and have been truly blown away by the response the books have received. I have several more books in this series to release and because of the time it takes to compose the Bardic Isles music for the audiobooks, am putting in an average of 10 hrs a day ... and I've never been happier or felt more fulfilled. This series, the characters that are as real to me as anyone I know, have profoundly changed my life, publication of them aside, and I'm honored that you feel they have changed yours as well. I've laughed with them, cried with them, and perhaps that's what readers are picking up on. I honestly can't look at anything anymore, people or plants, animals or objects, and not listen for the music I'm sure they were created with. And I must be hearing it somehow, because when I put my hands on the keys of my piano and think of a passage where music is being described, it always comes to me. I don't know how. It just does.
