The culmination of Mika and Page’s final encounter is a tough one, especially after all Mika went through, and everything Page had built... but, in your opinion, did Mika ever end up redeeming herself? Mika, after all, was the reason I finished the story.

You mentioned a sequel, which is coming out soon! Awaken: Fall of the Righteous branches off from Chapter 23, after the necromancer attack on the sirens. It will feature a brand-new cast and we will get to see Mika again. Book 2’s plot will revolve around a couple’s attempt at saving the siren species. I will try to send it to you via Reedsy!
