Nicole I feel like this is basic but honestly milk & honey by Rupi Kaur. As someone who struggled with similar trauma, I found it so healing.

I've read Milk Honey, and the writer is so good. The book lays out the raw emotion of what PTSD might feel like, although we, just readers, can never fathom the pain the person actually goes through.
