Welcome, Lynn. You know how it works :)
Hi! I'd like to join with my short story collection (I think that technically counts as a novella by page length?) Heart-Shaped Keystrokes: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...I don't remember the exact word count, but it comes in at 74 pages all together.

Hi Esther. Before I can add you to this round, I need to know if you have reviewed or been reviewed by Rik or Lynn.
E.K. wrote: "Esther wrote: "Hi! I'd like to join with my short story collection (I think that technically counts as a novella by page length?) Heart-Shaped Keystrokes: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...I..."
I've reviewed both of them, but not the particular books they've submitted
Thanks for that information, Esther & welcome to the round. We still need one more person to join before we can get started. Please keep checking back for any conflicts.
Hello guys , please id like to join this round with my cookbook link below https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
However, i have read and reviewed Rik Ty "Thrill kings " ..... he is the only person i have a conflict with in the group so far , thanks alot !
Leane, I can't sign you up to this round until your reviewing commitment to Round 50 is complete (see point 4 in Message 1 above.) Please also ensure you meet the criteria in point 9 - that you are are able to leave an Amazon review - before signing up to any GR+AMZ rounds. If you’re unable to post reviews on Amazon, look for rounds that say “reviews on GR+ (NOT Amz.)
Thanks!
Hello, I would like to join with Tattered Edges. I've reviewed Rik's Thrill Kill Sparrows and Hawks. No conflicts with Lynn or Ester (pretty sure)https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
Thanks!
Looks like you fit perfectly, Marco. Welcome to the round!---
Before the round can get underway, everyone please double-check for reciprocal and other review conflicts. You can’t be listed to review someone who reviewed you before and vice versa. It’s all about who has already read whom, when positioning the readers in the slots.
Please check these things:
1. Have you previously reviewed the person directly above you on the list in message 1 (the list wraps around so the last number is "above" 1.)?
If you have, please post a reply that says so. That way we can fix the list so as to avoid a reciprocal review, which isn’t allowed here.2. Have you already reviewed the book listed for the person directly below you on the list (the list wraps around so "1." is "below" the last number)?
If you have, post a reply that says so. That way we can fix the list so it shows the correct book for reviewing.3. Are you an editor, relative, close friend, or from the same household of either the person whose book you'll be reviewing or the person who'll be reviewing your book?
If so, please state any relationship you have with those other members. It’s a more-professional practice to avoid reviews from people in those relationships to the author. And Amazon doesn’t allow this anyway.Reminder of how to check for reciprocal reviews:
Go to your reviews through your profile (the link is under your portrait), and search for the other author’s name. Check if someone has reviewed you in the same way… through their profile, searching for your name.
If you have no review conflicts, please post a reply with "Ready to start" or similar words.
After everyone has posted that they’re ready, I'll post the official "start the round" message to get the round rolling! :)
I'm good!(And just a note, I might not be able to get my book out to my reader for a day or two, depending on when the round gets going - my daughter's having some surgery tomorrow (Sept. 5) and I'll be away from the computer a lot to help her out.)

I'm thinking I'll be doing Lynn's book? Lynn, I will but a copy

Hope it all goes well.

You will be as it stands, but please wait until the round is confirmed in case there are any changes. Thanks for confirming that you are ready to go :)
Very late to the party here, but if I could join an expanded round that would be brilliant. If not, then I will wait until a future round :)The Crown, the Tiger, and the Curious Case of the Forty Elephants
First time reviewing and first book, so no conflicts possible in either direction!
Hi David, I'm sorry, you are too late for this one, unless we don't get confirmation from the final participant. There are some other rounds needing participants that you could join:
Round_52 "General" (reviews on GR+ (NOT Amz)):
https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
Round_49 "Mild" (reviews on GR & Amz) - if your book fits the 'mild' criteria:
https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...-
Round_47 "General" (reviews on GR & Amz): https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...-
There's also the book list: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
And lots of open chains, including a novella one:
All chains - https://www.goodreads.com/topic/group...
Novella chain - https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...-
Marco wrote: "EK,I figure I'm the final participant, just checking that you saw my "I'm good to go response."
Thanks, Marco. Saw your earlier response - thank you. It's not you :)
All, thanks for your patience. I'm going to give it until end of day tomorrow and if we don't hear back from our fourth author, that spot will open up again and we'll be back to needing 1 to get the round going.
E.K. wrote: "All, thanks for your patience. I'm going to give it until end of day tomorrow and if we don't hear back from our fourth author, that spot will open up again..."If that happens, maybe David would still be up for joining.
I have joined another review on one of the threads so I think that takes me out of contention? If it doesn't then I am still up for joining in.
The other review round is in a different group, so you'll be OK joining this one too if you have the time to complete the reviews.
Yes, I can do. Obviously, only if the other person doesn't respond. I'll keep an eye out and can be subbed in if needed...
Since we didn't hear back from the final participant, I've opened that spot back up and slotted David into it. Thanks, David.---

Thank you all - let’s get this round going! You have three weeks to read and review.
Start date: September 12, 2024
End date: October 4, 2024
Please post your review no later than October 4, 2024.
As AUTHORS, you’ll send your book file to your reviewer, and as REVIEWERS, you’ll receive a book file to read.
1.__Rik TyIt's the responsibility of each author to get their book to their reader in a format the reader can manage. Everyone must be able to provide and accept PDF. You may buy or borrow the book you are due to read, if you want, but it’s not required.
You're reviewing Trial Run (Lynn Helton).
David Fribbins is reviewing your book, so please make sure they have a copy to read.
2.__Lynn Helton
You're reviewing Tattered Edges (Marco Santucci).
Rik Ty is reviewing your book, so please make sure they have a copy to read.
3.__Marco Santucci
You're reviewing The Crown, the Tiger, and the Curious Case of the Forty Elephants (David Fribbins).
Lynn Helton is reviewing your book, so please make sure they have a copy to read.
4.__David Fribbins
You're reviewing Thrill Kings: Madre Diem: Reality Torn And Screaming (Rik Ty).
Marco Santucci is reviewing your book, so please make sure they have a copy to read.
Please honor the commitment you’re making to your fellow group members to give an honest review.
Quick "start-up" summary:
-You’re reviewing the book "below" you on the list. Please let me know ASAP if I missed something that results in you being asked to review someone who’s already reviewed you.You can choose to buy the book, but you don’t have to. If you do buy, certainly the author will appreciate the verified review on Amazon.-You need to PM the person who will be reviewing you (the person above you on the original list of names) through their Goodreads author page to ask what kind of file they would like or say you can only offer PDF. Don't forget to ask where to send it so they can give you their email.
You can choose to read the book through KU, if you’re a subscriber and the book’s available there.(Using PM is recommended for exchanging email addresses to avoid the chance of spammers getting your email addresses from this open forum).-Please make sure you have sent your book - or have been assured by your reviewer they will buy your book or read it through KU - as soon as possible so your reader can start reading.
To PM someone, click on the down arrow beside the "Follow Author" button under their picture and it opens a menu which should give you the option to "Send message".
The person who you’re reviewing should be in touch with you in a similar way or post on the thread to say they are getting your book directly from a retailer. If you - as a reviewer - haven't heard from the book's author about a review copy, feel free to PM them. You don't have to wait for them to contact you.
-For this round, you’re requested to please post your review to Goodreads, and on your own Amazon store and any other Amazon stores you might have access to. Posting a review to other sites is by agreement between both author and reviewer.
-After you’ve posted your reviews, please reply to this thread with the links to your reviews (not the book page) so you can be "signed off" for reviewing. You can post your Goodreads review link before the Amazon one has been approved. Just please—when the Amazon one comes in—post a separate message. Notifications don’t pop up for edits, so the moderator won't know to go hunting for it.For GR+Amz Rounds:
The moderator will note whether participants have posted reviews on Amazon. Members who persistently fail to post to Amazon will find mods less than willing to add them to subsequent GR+Amz rounds, as joining these rounds indicates both a capability and a willingness to review on Amazon. For the good of all, participants in any type of round who persistently fail to post reviews, or DNF reviews, will find mods less than willing to add them to subsequent rounds.
Feel free to ask questions if you need to, either here or via PM.
Happy reading & reviewing! :)
Marco, I see your book is available through KU. I'll get a copy that way.Rik, if you need me to send you a review pdf of my book, please let me know. Thanks!
Lynn, also please choose the second edition since that one only has one review. When I pulled it from the publisher the ASIN changed, losing all the reviews as they don't transfer. The photo is a whitewash window frame on the cover. Thanks-
Marco, this is the one I found available through KU - going from your GR book link above to the book on Amazon. Since it's got 1 Amazon review, I assume it's the right one?https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0D...
