This book is proof not everyone should write a book 🤭🤭 as much as I'm sure their were raging hot DILFS in the 17th century. THAT AIN'T THE VIBE omg hahahahahah

message 3: by Evie (new)

Evie Ummmm yeah…. That’s a choice. Can’t say I’ve ever read a historical fiction novel and thought “this is really missing more discussion about dilfs”…

Jay H (Hiatus) Yep!! That would make drop the book just as fast

HONESTLY! A choice was made.... an incorrect choice if I say so myself 🤭 the whole “this is really missing more discussion about dilfs” SO TRUE!!!! MADE ME LAUGH SO MUCH hahahahaha you know what this 17th century story needs... DILFS 🤣🤣🤣

Babe, if it was all fun and quirky like lightning heart, I could have gotten behind it but this bitches mum got murdered/burned at the stake on like page 1, and she barely even cared hahahah. so the dilf comment was suuuuuuuuper weird and didn't fit into the time piece like lightning heart did hahahahahah 😂😂😂
And I was trying soemthing different :P I read the occassional MF.... I regret EVERYTHING. Back to my comfortable hole of mm I go... ahhahahahah 🤭🤭🤭

Chelsea hope wrote: "HAHAHAHA I cant not the dilf term being used in the 17th century 😂😂😂😂😂"

My friend said maybe they invented the term in the 17th century in this universe.......???? I did not appreciate that sort of positivity 😂 hahahaha kidding, but it WAS SO WEIRD HOPE. WHY DO DILFS EXIST IN THIS TALE??????? ahahhahahaha gtfoooooooooo 😂😂😂😂 So unnecessary

message 17: by A.W. (new)

A.W. Jackson I didn't think a dilf could cause this much drama. It's literally used that one time as a lighthearted way of describing the dad. It's not like the characters use the word themselves haha

message 18: by Sandra (new)

Sandra lol, did they really? DILF? 17th century is very modern, indeed.

The word DILF sure has caused a dilemma 😂 it felt very out of place for the time period chosen, even if the characters themselves don't say it later, that almost makes it's first/only appearance of the word even more of a strange choice?
I'm honestly very sorry if this has upset you, I just always have to be honest in how I feel, and in the right circumstances/stories, this modern writing may have worked, but it was janky in it's use here. Honest beta readers is integral to this and I can see alot of other reviews on a similar wave length about the language and possible re-editing/tweaking to make the story more enjoyable. Best of luck with your future writing! The covers are STUNNINGGGGGGGGGGGG and I hope your books bring people joy 💖💖💖💖

Gaby OMG I can't even hahahhahahhahahhaa

Chelsea Sandra wrote: "lol, did they really? DILF? 17th century is very modern, indeed."

Yep, the DILF was a real thing that happened 😂😂 I could have handled like... it not being completely time period accurate, but DILF??? hmmm no. much tooooo modern for the fact they were burning witches at the stake also. hahaha.

message 29: by lila (new)

lila why can’t authors stick to the time period they’ve set their books in and use terms relevant to that era 😭😭 i get why you were annoyed LOL i hope your next read is much better though!! 💕

Chelsea lila ⋆ wrote: "why can’t authors stick to the time period they’ve set their books in and use terms relevant to that era 😭😭 i get why you were annoyed LOL i hope your next read is much better though!! 💕"

RIGHT!? It was such an odd juxtaposition between the theme and the language. Or if you're going modern language, do a modern retelling that fits the writing?? That could have been cooler for sure! omg. Thank you lovely! On to other reads heheheh 💖💖 I hope your reading something wonderful!! heheheh 💖
