Adrian Deans Been very busy recently so not sure whether I promoted my most recent novel here. It's done reasonably well so the publisher just told me he wants books 2 and 3 in the series also. Hooray.

Asparagus Grass

Mitch Kuiper is a Sydney gardener and the bane of his life is asparagus grass - a tough spiky weed that conquers entire suburbs if not ripped out wherever it takes root.

Mitch becomes involved with two quirky young women, both of whom have profound secrets and soon finds himself flung into the most incredible adventure.

As it says on the front cover: Kurt Vonnegut meets Jason Bourne

Also just signed an agency deal with one of Australia's biggest agents which is very exciting also.

Robert Albo My new book, The Fifth Seal, is available on NetGalley and will be published on November 19th. Hoping to get early reviews. Link and book blurb below:

https://www.netgalley.com/widget/6828...

When brilliant but socially awkward astrophysicist Barry Adams encounters a mysterious messenger during a dark energy experiment, he's thrust into an epic battle between order and chaos that will determine humanity's fate. Joined by Jane White, a compassionate art teacher grappling with a crisis of faith after leaving her strict religious upbringing, Barry must navigate a treacherous landscape of international politics, cutting-edge technology, and ancient prophecies.

Set against the backdrop of Berkeley, California, Barry struggles to reconcile his rational mind with prophetic visions, while Jane must embrace a spirituality that defies her fundamentalist upbringing. Their budding romance is tested by cosmic responsibility and those who would see the world burn.

Dark forces, armed with devastating weapons harnessing the ubiquitous power of dark energy, threaten to plunge humanity into oblivion. As the Seven Seals of Revelation begin to break, they find themselves facing an enemy beyond imagination.

The Fifth Seal blends science fiction, spiritual thriller, and geopolitical drama, challenging our understanding of reality, faith, and the human spirit. From the halls of power in Washington and Tehran to a climactic battle in an otherworldly dimension, Barry and Jane must forge unlikely alliances and confront their deepest beliefs.

Prepare for a mind-bending journey with a startling conclusion that could lead you to reconsider ideas about science, religion, and the nature of existence itself.

Ethan Warrener I've recently published the final book in a trilogy. I haven't promoted the first installment here, however. For Home and Hearth is a small-town dystopian drama set in "misty taste of moonshine" West Virginia half a century after a calamity has sent civilization back to pre-industrial technology. When a mysterious drifter arrives with an army of pigmen at his heels, the Tucker clan will have to confront the harsh realities outside their walls, the lies they've told themselves, and even the specter of their own extinction.

Kirkus Reviews suggests fans of Justin Cronin's The Passage will also enjoy this series, and describes my debut as "Creature-feature material blended skillfully with Appalachian-style grievances in a post-apocalyptic world."

Brett Hodnett I just released my first novel HUMAN on Kindle. It will be available on Kindle Unlimited and in print later this month. Here's the blurb:

A remarkable exploration of family, society, and what makes us human, HUMAN will take you from the post-apocalyptic world of the near future, to the two very different societies that emerge 15 million years later, where those few surviving individuals have evolved to become something that we might not fully recognize as human.

When Ayla’s research takes her to a remote river in Canada’s far north, Chris brings their daughter to an isolated island in the southern Pacific. Though at opposite ends of the earth, they both awaken one morning to black skies, and a night that doesn’t end. Slowly, Ayla and Chris begin to realize that humanity has been inexplicably wiped out, and only their isolation has saved them. Besides the handful of people around them, they are now alone in the world. As they struggle to build new ways to live, they must also struggle with how to let go of their past.

Millions of years later, when their descendants finally meet, they have evolved to become two very different kinds of humans, with two very different civilizations. As each tries to build a better world for themselves, navigating love, loss, betrayal and success within their own societies, their biggest challenge may be to recognize the humanity of the other.

Alexander Addams Hi all, I'm Alexander Addams, a Indigenous writer, or more accurately, a traditional storyteller, and my debut, 'Gardeners of Consciousness,' is a unique work of sci-fi Indigenous Futurism that I've crafted using voice-to-text, as if I were telling it directly to you. This groundbreaking narrative of decolonization and rebirth is an essential addition to any Indigenous/Native books group and I noticed that you did not have any Apocalypse books that were of this nature, so I added it to the bookshelf. It is told through the eyes of Aidan O:nenhkwe, a Mohawk archivist and story-teller, who witnesses society's downfall and the rise of unexpected individuals who guide humanity to its next level. My book reclaims power structures, elevates matriarchal governance, and demonstrates how Indigenous ways of knowing are vital for survival, offering a challenging yet ultimately uplifting exploration of what happens when oppressive systems collapse. Written in a traditional spoken word style, 'Gardeners of Consciousness' is a pro-feminist, LGBTQ2S+ narrative deeply rooted in Indigenous traditions and the necessity for cooperation, exploring the fascinating concept of a storyteller chronicling the journey of another storyteller through a pre-, post and post-post-apocalyptic world saved by the most unlikely of heroes. Feel free to check it out and let me know your thoughts on this layered narrative experience!

Raymond White Freedom Rising: The Dying Time Book 3

Freedom Rising is the finale of my Dying Time Trilogy.

Civilization crumbled when asteroid Havoc hit the Earth. Power failed, billions died, fires and earthquakes shook the world. Twelve years later came the rise of a king from the ruins of California. In Colorado, the Freeholds, a band of survivors trying to create a peaceful world from the ruins of the old, fought the king and won a tentative peace.

Now, two years later, the disaster looms again. The king is back, set on destroying the Freeholds, a second asteroid—Havoc’s Twin—threatens to destroy what’s left of the world, and a courageous woman makes a desperate gamble to save everything.

As the king assembles his forces, the Freehold undertakes a bold plan to build a revolution starting from scratch. Can a small band of fighters succeed against an army? Or will Havoc’s Twin snuff out the fragile remains of humanity?

Thousands of five-star reviewers loved the first two books, and the final battle promises even greater action and surprises.

You won’t want to miss the earth-shattering conclusion as Freedom Rising finishes the epic saga begun in The Dying Time: Impact.

Raymond White The Dying Time: Impact

The Dying Time Impact is book one in my Dying Time Trilogy.

When the Impact destroyed civilization and re-sculpted the globe the extinction of humanity began. Fire rained from the sky, megaquakes ruined all infrastructure, tsunamis and hypercanes devastated coastal areas. And then came plague, Impact Winter with its unending cold, starvation and seemingly endless suffering. But amidst the chaos there were a few survivors gutsy enough to stand against both Nature and the desperate hordes who would do anything—eat anyone to survive.

Egon Spaanderman Hi gang,

I have just released my first novel.

My debut novel ELIAS: A World Unraveled is a dystopian sci-fi story set mostly in the year 2367. It follows humanity’s struggle against a powerful AI machine god that rules through faith, surveillance, and manipulation.

The story blends futuristic themes with real-world history, especially the forgotten mysteries of the Knights Templar and Norse mythology. It’s about rebellion, prophecy, and the search for truth in a world where even faith has been rewritten by machines.

If you enjoy dark, atmospheric science fiction with philosophical and historical layers, you might like this one.

Thanks for having me here!
