i was enjoying it so its nothing about the actual book!! im not usually a fantasy person i have to be in the right mood for it, you'll be the first to know when i pick it back up 🤞💗

yes exactly! i didnt want to force myself through it since it is long and then be annoyed and fall into a slump. i think the fall will be a better time for it🤞

i think it was just not the right time when i first picked it up, now im in the fantasy mood and im enjoying it a ton! its super fun and is giving me diverget/harry potter vibes in the best way 🤭 im also so happy i dont have to wait months for the sequel lol

thank you Maple! i dnfed it in May because i got distracted by other books i was reading at the time and kind of lost interest. i knew i would pick it up again though, it was only a temporary dnf hahaha. im really enjoying it this second time around!
