Yeah, I get it. I’m the author by the way. I don’t know if comments indicate this. I took a chance and wrote it in this style not knowing how it would work. When my beta readers loved it, I had it edited and published. And, yay!, many people loved it. I get emails and DMs and reviews. But I can see how the style wouldn’t work for everyone. I would ask, if you are so inclined, if you would power through it and let me know what you think of the story. Given your interest in multiple realities, I’d love to hear your thoughts on what I think is a unique look at it, in relation to what we observe. Thanks again for sharing your perspective.
I don't mean to be rude, but as far as I read, it isn't a particularly unique look aside from not trying to distract the reader from the main story with a clumsy romance that doesn't make sense.
However, nothing's completely unique anymore with so much multimedia in the sci-fi / fantasy genre. It's all just different versions of what went before.
Maybe it improves, but I have little time for novels these days, so I prioritize.
I'm glad some enjoy it and I hope they leave you nice reviews.
