How is the history of Indigenous people is a woke culture? Are you okay?
Beth I also disliked the book. Too many characters and boring. But I would be careful to equate factual history with “woke” culture. Not the same thing. No one is blaming you for historical events.
The woke comment is unnecessary and wrong. History and human suffering are real. That said, I totally agree with your criticism of the book.
