Was this as good as the first book?
While I did enjoy reading this book, I don't think it was a good as the first one, but I'm not sure that it was supposed to be. They are both stories in the series and give us the perspectives of the main female character, but they are different in their tropes, which makes them different...harder to compare. I still enjoyed reading it and learning about the characters. I'm also looking forward to the next book in the series.
Nice. My wife has the audiobook. When she's done with it, I'm diving in.
