Was just wondering how many of you have or will be investing in getting one of the new kindles this holiday season.

i still have my kindle from high school. I think its the Kindle Fire 7. -So Definitely durable! lol

My kindle 4 still works, and I love it! It might be old but it's faster at loading the pages than these new ones 🤣

My boyfriend just ordered the newest Kindle for me. I had a Kindle Fire tablet as a kid, but this is my first e-reader. I'm so excited!! I was planning on getting a Kindle for myself but couldn't justify the purchase since I'm doing fine reading on my phone aside from getting headaches.

I want to get the color one so bad just because I like taking pictures of what I am reading and posting them to my book ig. But its like $250 and I can't justify getting it.

In a year or two I think they'll come out with a new color edition and that will be the one I get. If they don't come out with a new one in 1-2 years I will get it and hope the price will go down within that time frame.

Well headaches are no fun. So it’s definitely worth it. I’m pretty light sensitive so it was a game changer for me.

That’s also my plan. I want it but I want the technology to grow another generation or so before I invest

i just got my first Kindle last Christmas! it’s a paperwhite and it can be a bit slow, but i’m so attached to it already that i want to have it for a while and use it a lot more before i get a new one. ESPECIALLY with how expensive the color one is. the new one does look so cool though

I agree! They can definitely be expensive. And I’m not a fan of the color one unless you are a reader of manga or a comic books

i just looked on line for possible black Friday Kindle deals and found nothing. I'm still bumbling along with my Gen 4 but I now have to charge it every couple hours.

Yeah I dont think they have anything yet but I know there will be plenty of deals coming soon enough
