Thank you for your review! The book contains some pretty heavy realities, but I wanted to keep it feeling as "light" as possible. I wrestled with the idea of footnotes, citations, bibliography, etc.
In the end, I was afraid any of those might make it feel too scientific or too much like a textbook. So, my goal was to include enough info within the copy that anyone could easily search the studies I referred to, if they doubted me.
