What I intended, and the way I pictured it in my head, was that the dragon fills the entire Crystal Chamber vertically, but not horizontally, which is why it needs to teleport. I pictured the Crystal Chamber as being much wider than the dragon's width. Sorry that I didn't write that part clearly!
