Thanks Jan. I agree with the epilogue part. My editor thought the ended left too much open. But I did that mostly on purpose. I like the bittersweet ending allowing the reader to decide how the characters put their lives back together. I LOVE It's a Wonderful Life and would not even call this a fan fiction. It was just a philosophical idea that got stuck in my head one day, and a couple years later it was STILL in my head. So I put pen to paper. Thanks again!
