Interesting perspective on the style of writing. I had similar troubles at some points where I felt lost, thinking did I reread a page or did I not hehe. But I rated the book highly and definitely would like to read his other books; for the book contained a wealth of philosophy set the backdrop of NYC as I’ve been told it was like.
I completely agree with this. I went back and forth between absolutely loving this, and mostly just appreciating it but my mind wandered. Thanks for putting into better words than I can!
