Hello everyone! I'm looking for ARC readers to receive a free ebook copy of my debut novel, "The Epelola". It's the first in a 2- part planned series, though reads as a standalone.
Other details: Multi-POV, includes 11 illustrations, Enemies to lovers, a plot that increases in speed and tension like a barrel speeding down a hill.
There are several content warnings, difficult themes and suggestive scenes. More details on the nature of these warnings are listed in the form.
Thank you!
Blurb: Twenty years ago the universe died. As the cosmos shuddered its dying breath, so too did Eppi’s mother. Plagued with the memory of her murder, the mute and reclusive Eppi wants nothing more than to keep to herself. But living under an over-populated dome on the remote planet Sindoq makes this a futile endeavor. When Eppi is forcefully volunteered to work for one of Sindoq’s rulers, the brutish king Tityrus, her solitary life is upended forever.
Secrets and intrigue abound at Tityrus’s palace. There, Eppi meets Simimar, an affable teenage boy and Chei-El. His presence is a mystery, as his people are blamed for the universe’s death, and thereby enslaved in an inhospitable part of Sindoq’s dome.
Upon aiding Simimar in front of an enraged Tityrus, Eppi inadvertently finds herself at the heart of a political conspiracy. As his cupbearer, she is tasked with spying on the giant king to help the Chei-El. Worse still, strange visions begin to afflict Eppi whenever she touches others. The trepid woman must discover the source of her burgeoning powers, unravel the mystery of Tityrus, his servants, and her very own existence, or doom Simimar and his people to extinction.
