I think you misunderstood the intention of my review. I have no idea who your editor is, nor do I even care to know. I have absolutely no "personal vendetta" with anyone, and it's bizarre that you think so when both my reviews are 5-star reviews. Btw, I don't really care why you write books, I don't know you. FYI, reviews are meant to express a READER's point of view, not measure how much it coincides with the author's. Your response saddens me: I've bought all your books, mostly on Smashwords, and the editing and format are atrocious, yet I insist giving you 5-star reviews because you write good stories, have good ideas, and I enjoy the books. You're telling me to stop reading your books? I cannot do that, sorry. I have no idea who did the editing, I have no idea whose choices were implemented, and I don't care: I just read the books. You should just explain that your vision of the book wasn't realized, and take the 5-stars with some gratitude. That's what an author would do, not attack a reader. Thank you.
Before you get mad back, please let me apologize. I lost my temper this morning due to misplaced anger. It is an issue that I've been trying to work on. I know that doesn't excuse my behavior or comments. From your review it just came off as very backhanded and I understand that you yourself are an editor and an arc reader for publishers. However, you gotta understand that you essentially put a nail in the coffin for this book by essentially saying it is horribly edited and hard to read. No one is ever going to wanna buy or read it now and the way you wrote the review it seemed like you had a personal problem with my editor. Having been through the weaponized reviews in the past I had a flashback and didn't want her to deal with what I had to in order to fix the issue.
I reached out to my editor and she does know you or at least of you and she would like to know where her shortcomings are so that she can grow as an editor.
Personally, if there are major flaws, please reach out to me personally so that I can be a better author.
Again, I am sorry for being a POS and I'm sorry my books are not up to par for you or anyone else that is an editor.
