Great review and interesting! I’ve seen this authors name, and have a few on my tbr but hesitate everytime I almost read one. (From a series about a bakery). I’ll have to try one soon and compare thoughts!

I'd love to see your thoughts Lori! Its such a shame I didn't enjoy this author more because I never got that wallpaper hr feeling... But her plots are just too weak, imho 🥲

Omg, the Beastly Lords! My condolences. I read two books in the series and marked Baily as an author to avoid. She doesn’t put much thought into her writing.

This one is not even full addiction. He keeps drinking from a flask and gets annoyed when he's told to stop. Doesn't the first time, does the next and that's it. No withdrawal symptoms and a token "he craves it sometimes so I hug him and it goes away" 🙃🫠💀

I'm also going that route, it's not that I want to dislike a book. I'll save myself and others the angry rants and listen better to my moods 🙌

That's even worse because it makes addiction look so harmless and easy to cure.
