Hello I am Theresa and I am an avid reader and author. I've been here for about 2 years now. I mostly read paranormal, but I dabble in various genres. I have two books in my vampire series published and am in the midst of revising the third. When I'm not writing or reading I'm swimming, hiking, or checking out local haunted places. :)

Hello, I'm GG. I've had a taste of what vampires feel last week with my first blood transfusion. I was afraid that if I'd smile to the nurse, my fangs would show up. :PI read about anything. although my favorites are vampires, and aliens, and zombies and...well you get the idea. :)

Welcome, Jennifer! I am always surprised to see how many readers want to also write. I never had that desire; I just want to read. Ebooks have given people a great opportunity as it was difficult for years to make it into the book publishing industry.

I love, love, love audios. They help me get a lot more reading done than I would otherwise. And many narrators are so good they value add to the book.

My mom is an avid reader, you know her as Queen Regent :) I turned her onto audio books a few years ago and she has taken over the whole situation! So, I "read" whatever she tells me to listen to next.
Hello all you wonderful 'afflicted' people, Melanie here. Please call me Mel, unless I've done something wrong, in which case use Melanie :-)As a child, which was so long ago that I think I may be immortal, vampires terrified me, yet fascinated me at the same time. Over the years, as vampires have evolved, so has my love of them. I must confess that it is not only vampires that I love, though they were my first love. Angels, demons, werewolves, zombies ... and Satan, depending on how he is portrayed.
I've often thought about what might prey on vampires, and that, along with a series of books that I loved first time around but found hard to swallow the second time around, led me on my journey of writing my own series. Anyway, I'll find somewhere more appropriate to talk about them, so that I don't get scolded in this thread.
Looking forward to sinking my teeth into this group!

I'm Tammy, I'm a Domestic Goddess (aka stay at home mom) I have 3 kids, (1 child & 2 dogs) a 12yr boy, & 2, 4 legged kids, if I lump my hubby in to it then I have 4. I'm in my 30's, I read everyday, reading is my escape from the tedious, I read pretty much anything I can get my hands on, but it seems like most of the books on my bookshelves are some sort of paranormal, witches, mythology, with a bit of historical thrown in for good measure. My go to is witches, I will read anything with witches in it. Right now I'm hooked on Kim Harrison's The Hollow series. I run my own book page called Witching Hour Reads
