For those seeking modern historical fiction that tries to make sense of what is happening in Israel today, I'd love it if you could all give some love to my novel, The Settler. It was written after I covered the pullout from Gush Katif, Gaza in 2005 as a journalist. It opened up so many issues relating to Jewish identity, division in Israeli society, and coming of age. A lot of it is based on real events--especially the crisis of faith among the youth. It takes you into the world of Tel Aviv nightlife and also religious Zionism. Thanks for considering! Happy to send a review copy for those interested.

paperback or epub would be ideal (I don't actually have a kindle email!!) - feel free to email for address/send the epub over to 12cooped@gmail.com
Orit, this sounds like an amazing book. I am so intrigued by the premise and diving more into this perspective of Israeli life. I found your book on Kindle (I see it’s on unlimited but I want to buy it to support you :) ) and it’s at the top of my list. Thank you for writing this story. Can’t wait to read!
