I very much enjoyed making the two main POV characters into rich and complex characters that were also very different from each other. It's good feedback that the antagonists, Fatal Thorns in particular, needed more build up. While I think it's understandable, given the fast paced nature of the book and the comic book inspirations, I think the comment is entirely valid. It's something I'll consider in the future books when I develop the antagonists. Books 2 and 3 are already written and going through a polishing pass now. They should be out this year and next year respectively. So the survivors of this book have a lot more story ahead of them. I'm eager to hear your thoughts when you get your hands on the next thrilling adventures of... To Crack A Geode.
