The movie rights. Oh boy, that would be a thing. And I agree, you're right, though I dare not dream it will happen. If it did, I believe the contract says that the author retains the rights to adaptations but that I (as the publisher) get 1% of whatever they get. So ... if you know any commissioning editors ...
