Hi Scott! I try not to reply to reviews because I know these areas are meant to be reader spaces, but I really wanted to answer your son's questions - especially now that I have more information to share with him. I also wanted to thank him for his review! So, the following text is my note for him.
I just finished writing the third and final book in the trilogy. I'm working on edits now (which is a long process) and plan to release the book - Protector of the Stones - on September 30 this year! I truly am sorry for the cliff hangers - those are the worst, aren't they? Not sure if you read book 2 yet, but there's another cliffhanger in that one too (so if you haven't read it yet, maybe wait until closer to September 30). I didn't plan to end them that way, I just felt that the story naturally stopped/divided at those points. I'm so glad you love Quinn and how brave she is. I do go into a little more detail about her back story in book 3. I really like your idea about showing more of her life at home and I hope to one day write some bonus chapters about that.
