Changing default description > Likes and Comments

I need to change the default description in time for a book giveaway scheduled to start March 3. When I try to edit the description, it says I have been granted special librarian or author status, but then when I make the change and click save, I get a pop up saying "update description may only be done by a librarian." Two Over Easy All Day Long

I want to replace the default description with the description on the book's back cover - and I want to do that in time to have the updated description show up in the giveaway list. Can you help me?
