Hooray for salty Petrik! You are right. This book is trash

To each their own. I'm glad you enjoyed this. I did not. At all. 😅

Book 6 was amazing IMO. 😂
I also gave it one star. One of the worst books in the fantasy realm. If it weren't for my friend, I would've dnf'ed WOT entirely.
Yes, I agree it's one of the worst ever. But most WoT readers agree that book 11 is one of the best.
I didn't suffer with it as much as you did, but this series has a lot of flaws. I respect your commitment to seeing it through.
I didn't think it was that bad. I rated a 3 star. Definitely a flawed book that dragged, but it was worth it. I believe Wheel of Time is the greatest fantasy series ever
It's really not that bad. I was so entrenched in the world that it didn't feel like a slog. I had a harder time with The Shadow Rising than this.
I didn't expect that you would finish it this year, I hope this means you're out of the reading slum.
I thought Winter Heart was worst. At this this book has the Matt and Suon plotline which was quite good. Still a slog thou.

Now you know. I'm tired of featuring this book in my monthly TBR video. 😂

I'm so excited, not gonna lie. I will be taking a little break from the world, but the next time I'm back, it will be for that! :)

I have no idea how many times I dozed off or shook my head reading this. Uncountable. 😂
Hunter wrote: "Ah well, just keep pushing through. Because the series as a whole is amazing."
I definitely will continue!! Pretty excited for the rest of the series! :)

That's definitely a silver lining, Joshua! :D
Bryan wrote: "This is my favorite series, but this is such a bad book. The good news is it gets better from here."
I don't think anything in the series will ever be as bad as this again. 😂 Impossible.
Eduardo wrote: "I didn't suffer with it as much as you did, but this series has a lot of flaws. I respect your commitment to seeing it through."
Yeah, there were some books in the series despite the flaws. Great Hunt, Fires of Heaven, and Lords of chaos being my favorites of them all. I was still able to enjoy some parts of A Crown of Swords and Path of Daggers, too. This one was just on another level.

I don't think it will the greatest fantasy series ever for me. But we'll see how the last few books goes!

Thank you so much, Paul! I'm excited for the rest!
Andrew wrote: "Hey, at least you did it! Hopefully that's a good sign for the rest of your reading."
I HOPE SO. About time. I think the book is partly responsible for my slump in fantasy. 😂
Tom wrote: "It's really not that bad. I was so entrenched in the world that it didn't feel like a slog. I had a harder time with The Shadow Rising than this."
You gave it 2 stars, though? 😂 Although, I agree Shadow Rising was another rough part of the series. Maybe because I had too high of an expectation towards that.

I'm happy to be done with this. Knife of Dreams next!!!

Theirs were okay, but still feels like the plot barely progressed. Or at all.
Candace wrote: "Yeah it was the worst lol. Luckily it gets better again in the next book."
Thank you for the encouragement, Candace!
The whole series has been painful. I just finished book 5, and there are parts in this series that I want to quit reading. Not just quit reading Wheel of Time, but reading in general
People can love what you love, but people who tell me this is there favorite fantasy series..,, I won't trust their judgment on anything

I'd rather reread Uprooted than reading this again.
My husband read the wheel of time when he was a teen but told he will hate it now lol. I tried in French then in English nope I didn’t even finish book one 😥
