I don’t make a habit of responding to reviews, but I have to tell you that your review meant a great deal to me. I took a risk to write this book but wrote it, in the end, for my then 11-yr-old daughter. She’s my only avid reader and I was helping her set up her Goodreads account last night. She asked if I read my reviews. I told her that I used but haven’t in a good while. Jokingly I said “well, let’s see what the damage is,” knowing that The Talent Thief is my lowest scored book. Your review was one of the first ones I read. I actually had to find a copy of my own book to see what I’d put in the acknowledgments! Ha!
