This latest book from one of the best writers in America is everything you could want from Mr. Everett. Clear, concise, a great story well told with all the depth anyone could wish. And you get to laugh. I still treasure "Erasure," "Trees" and "So Much Blue" especially, but this is a terrific addition to his canon, and I'm glad to see him getting the recognition he deserves. My hometown man makes good! Yay!
Not my favorite of Mr. Everett's novels, but a mighty good one. An improvement over "Dr. No", which is certainly good fun, if not quite as good as "Erasure" or "Almost Blue." But always five stars, anyway.
