This was one of those stories that I knew what I wanted to achieve but just couldn’t get it done in the word count. Not an excuse(!!)
I want to say thank you for your amazing review, you are thorough and factual and I appreciate it. Writing softer, more vulnerable women is not in my skill set, and this book is the strongest evidence of that. I wrote it this way because I’d faced a bit of pressure about how my female characters were too strong and my males weren’t alpha enough. I ended up getting all tangled and I missed the mark completely. I can only apologise and try harder in future.
