Kenneth Chastain Sarah, I was so highly impressed with your review of "God's Plan for the Family ..."
One of my professors in graduate school said, "To be a good writer, one has to be a good thinker."
You are both. Thinking as you were reading enabled you to undersatand my main purposes in writing the book and to summarize them clearly and succinctly in your review.
I thank you for your helpful ending in which you list the strengths and contributions of the book and of its potential critiques.
Also, I appreciate your very kind comments in your "Thank You Note to the Author". I am pleased that the book stimulated your thinking and expanded your perspective on God's plan for the family.
No author could wish for more than to have a reader say, "Your writing makes this work both intellectually stimulating and spiritually enriching," Thank you.
I apologize for my tardiness in responding to your review. In all honesty, I must admit that that was due in part by my being bit intimidated by my high regard for your review and my desire to express my appreciation appropriately.
Best wishes.
Kenneth Chastain
