Haley, thanks so much for checking out PACIFIC DASH. I really appreciated your comments and indeed, there is a lot that is very personal in the book. You might say I knew all the places in the novel, but none of the people . . . however, I knew a lot of people just like them, haha. Many of the events were modeled on things that happened to me, my friends, my co-workers, and so forth.
I hope many of your followers give PACIFIC DASH a try.
The second book in ,my PACIFIC Collection is called PACIFIC ODYSSEY, a similar story but quite different, though once again about a youngish Westerner adrift in Asia and getting into trouble.
I am now finishing up the third novel and hope to release it by the Fall. Tentative title is PACIFIC DREAM, the story of a young woman who goes to Asia and sacrifices everything (her comfort, her life, her chances at love and even her identity) for a greater good when she 'accidentally' starts an orphanage at a rural beach town.
