Oh lord I went and read those two reviews and...no, just no. And the comments by the reviewers are kinda even worse. Love you for reposting - I haven't read the book, but those types of comments aren't deserved, surely. Hope your review will reach the right readers instead of the other ones, Marieke! ♥️

@Crystal @Anne, I don’t mind one star reviews, we can’t all like the same books. I do mind hate speech, though. And those reviews are not okay.
Oo i must add this to my TBR!🤗 Thank you for shining a deservedly positive light on a book that is unfairly maligned in other reviews because of people’s anti-Arab and anti-LGBTQIA+ racism and bigotry.
It’s always astonishing to me when someone is a reader and yet stays that small hearted.
I’m looking forward to reading this!
