message 10: by Laura (new)

Laura Lee lmfao

message 11: by Renee (new)

Renee Maybe you should have read a synopsis or better yet, the book before sharing what must be the sad life you have.

i can tell you spent a lot of time on this comment and yet it still could have used another pass

emma Jae wrote: "and records"

emma bup wrote: "The world would be a better place if you were a book blurb writer."

emma Miriam wrote: "Kind of sick of Murakami but still mildly curious "

this is how i'm feeling too

message 20: by Prisha (new)

Prisha unrelated but have you read the YOU series? by caroline kepnes? if not, consider this a book recommendation. i think you would love it

message 21: by Ulrika (new)

Ulrika ...and there will probably be references to women's breasts on every page. 😂

message 22: by Eldal (new)

Eldal No. Similar themes, but definitely cleaned up all the questionable shit this time around actually

message 23: by Mia (new)

Mia I dunno if this was really that much less questionable. He just swapped out the scary sexy woman for an eerie autistic-coded kid

message 24: by Gaetano (new)

Gaetano Ceneri Well, I think the reason everybody’s being so snarky to you is because you haven’t read the book or the blurb, and yet you have this agenda that you want to put on the book and the author that just isn’t there. It would be more valid if your opinion was based on having read the book.

message 25: by Yong (new)

Yong L. Don’t forget the whiff of pedophilia. In any event, you’re not that far off. We also have the usual homing in on said bumbling man cooking pasta and waxing on about whiskey and either jazz or classical music.

message 26: by Andreea (new)

Andreea Surprisingly, no!

message 27: by Ben (new)

Ben Swinney And women's sexy ears.

message 28: by Ben (new)

Ben Swinney Is there a well?

message 29: by Vera (new)

Vera Knauer Emma, I went into it thinking the exact same thing. I’m only about 10% into the book but it feels like a sequel to Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World to me.

message 30: by Brandon (new)

Brandon Garcia I have read the synopsis and I ended up having to do a double-take on the title because it sounds very much like his "Hardboiled wonderland" book.

message 31: by Zey (new)

Zey Yavuz lmaoo this is too real

message 32: by emma (new)

emma Brandon wrote: "I have read the synopsis and I ended up having to do a double-take on the title because it sounds very much like his "Hardboiled wonderland" book."
