I enjoyed this book until the last fifth or so. It got kind of long. :) Melanie H. enjoyed the miniseries on Netflix.
It does seem rather long. I'm surprised by how interesting it is, though. I'll have to check out the show.
OK, I'm surrendering. I don't care about the cathedral anymore. I just skimmed to the end. And I'll ask Melanie to act out the miniseries for me.
Katie, I returned to this book and finished it—all 1,000 pages!
Woohoo! Congrats—and medieval soap opera? Perfecto!
