Debi Cates I'm always shocked at the myths surrounding Israel. I lived in the Middle East for some years, including Lebanon where there were huge Palestinian refugee camps. Once I met a person who wore a housekey on their neck. It was the key to their house in Palestine/Israel. For years I've kept a Palestinian coin, proof for disbelievers who thought it was just empty land before 1948. I'm glad this book exists and thank you for writing a review of it, Trevor.

Trevor A while ago I was told to read Israel: A Simple Guide to the Most Misunderstood Country on Earth. Just about everything in that book is a myth. Quite remarkable

Trevor The other one I would recommend, that I haven't had time to review, is The World After Gaza: A Short History - well worth the read.
