Yeah this is exactly how I felt. Didn’t love this one. It felt like it fell flat in comparison to the rest of the series.
I'm only on Chapter 12 and I'm already feeling like this book doesn't compare with the others. Character development feels like it's regressed. I'll keep going until the end, but it's certainly not gripping me like the previous books did.
I agree!! So disappointed with this one. So much of what Tracy does is out of character, and reckless given that she now has a child and husband. Storyline was one of the weakest in this series. Very disappointing overall, as I’ve loved the other installments. Hopefully the next one will be stronger in terms of the writing and story.
Oh my gosh! I just finished my review and wrote very similarly to this! Im glad I'm not the only one. I felt kinda bad writing a poor review, but this book did not fit the mold for me the way the other books in the series have! The climax was not it for me, and I felt it was so predictable. And I agree about Tracy acting reckless... so out of character for her. I did enjoy Lydia though. She was so sweet.
