Yesssss this book was a delight. Nothing else like it; fun, wild, grotesque. The unapologetic kink as a combatant to otherwise oppressive capitalism was exciting to read. The scene with the willing subway suicide and casual nods to reconstruction afterward (like death is both fun and temporary) stuck with me.
