I respect your position about authors not reviewing If you have a blog, even if it doesn't have reviews, you can still post a link to it in our "Blog-o-sphere" area.

As far as I personally am concerned, your thoughts on books are probably worth something to us. I'm okay with reviews as long as your not reviewing your own work or in some type of internet comment war with another person and using reviews as the weapons.

So, your still welcome and desired here if you don't review, and we want to see your blog if you have one. (I love your sense of humor). If you don't review, we still like comments about books on the book discussion threads and any other thread for that matter, if you feel that is outside of what's healthy for you, still drop by to let us know how your doing and to give us more chances to read your book!

I'd like to request reviewers, but first I need to find out what everyone is willing to try.

I write Bizarro fiction. Here's a pretty good primer for the genre/movement: http://bizarrocentral.com/about-bizarro/
But in a nutshell, Bizarro is weird fiction in most of its forms - science fiction, fantasy, crime, etc. The key difference is, it's weird as hell. It can be shocking and offensive, but that's also half the fun. There's gonzo way-out-there fringe Bizarro, and then there's more humor-based Bizarro that's maybe not quite as weird/surreal. I tend to write the latter. Most of my work is typically based in a relatively normal world where weird shits tends to happen.

Bizarro can get pretty sticky and gross sometimes. It can also be hilarious and so completely different from anything you've ever read before.

Your like is very good, steve. It really shows (tells) what Bizzaro is like cause, I could only guess from the name before now.

Hugh, could you please create a Bizarro category in the "Book Reviews - Common Threads" folder? I have a review for one I read.

Steve, I'm not volunteering for 2 reasons. First, my TBR pile runneth over & I owe a couple of authors reads right now. Two, I've only read a couple in the genre. One I didn't even rate - just hated it on sight. I think that's typical with a genre like this, though. Either the story sucks me in like a tornado or it vomits on me. I can't imagine anything in between.

That's a pretty fair assessment. Mainstream entertainment it ain't, that's for sure. The love/hate quotient for Bizarro is pretty high. But when you read that one that sucks you in like a tornado, it makes for a pretty great reading experience. It won't be for everyone, but it will definitely be different from what you've ever read before.

Angelic Hellfire which is a coming of age sci-fi story. There's also I, Tomorrow? and Other Stories which is a collection of 12 short stories.
