Kimber...The original Masterpiece Series on PBS was magnificent. I have not seen the remake nor have read the books! I hope you are enjoying the read!

Addicted to the series when it was on PBS here. (PBS, of course, now axed by Donald Trump. PBS was too intelligent for him). Who can't look at Aidan Turner forever? It was wonderful

I like that Kimber, "shake him by the collar". Sometimes I've had the thought while reading, but it's also because the character is one you like. I remember watching this first season on PBS. Did he personally wear the powdered wig in the book? Didn't in the show. Enjoyed your review!

Thank you, Ron! Ross Poldark was definitely a likable character. He wasn’t the typical powdered wig-wearing type, but he was surrounded by others who were. : )
