Thank you! I'm 3rd in line at my library and I can't wait!
yes! i met her at my bookstore the other day and it was so powerful, hearing her read some of the tweets and quotes was just...so impressive.

That's amazing. Definitely jealous. I would absolutely love to have a conversation with her about this book. I want to know every thought lol.

It's the actress. She's a fabulous writer as well, apparently.
Cool, didn't know she has written a book, so have to check it out. Have seen her in a lot of tv-shows and movies.

Thank you Barbara! :)

Me too. She was in a lot of my favourite shows growing up, even general hospital lol. I like her husband as well - David Cross. He's hilarious.

Nice. =) I remember her the most from the remake of The Ring, 127 Hours, the weird but the exciting movie Blackout, and a tv-series I used to watch named Joan of Arcadia. Her husband sounds familiar. Is he a comedian or something? Not sure.

I definitely used to watch Joan of Arcadia too! David Cross is a comedian yes. Have you ever seen Mr. Show or Arrested Development? Most people know him from that. He played Tobias, the never-nude lol

I'm not religious or anything but thought Joan of Arcadia was very addiciting to watch and it was pretty interesting. I need to check out Mr. Show and Arrested Development cause never heard of it. :/ But I'd like to check it out. Thanks for the advice. =)

Not religious either, but I can suspend disbelief for entertaiment lol. Arrested Development is so funny! Jason Bateman trying to wrangle his weird family. It's on Netflix if you have it!

So do I. It's entertaining. =) Nope, don't have Netflix. Still use dvd/blu-ray. I like the old-schoolish style, but hope I will find it. Recommend the movie Blackout if you haven't seen it. It's very weird and twisted movie that you won't forget about so easily.

Best compliment. Thank you x
I read most of this, and had too much trouble following the storyline-- though her writing about the deviant mind was really superb. Nice review, Krystin :)
Great review...I’m listening to the audiobook and almost stopped it about halfway through the first disc...so so glad I didn’t! It just took awhile to get the hang of it. Don’t think I’ve EVER read anything written in this way and wow is it effective! I spent my career as a therapist working with victims of sexual violence (a few teen boys and men) and she nailed it. Thanks for your great insight!
Fabulous review. I’m about 40% done with the book now and I can already tell it will stay with me forever
Lol I started this book tonight, was like “holy shit, this book is INTENSE, then thought: “I’d better wait and start it tomorrow or I won’t get any sleep.”
Then I see your review confirming just that. Haha.
Loved this review. Especially the line about heterosexual women being the only species who need to mate with our only known predator. That’s a pretty powerful statement (and sadly, too true).
Phenomenal review! The emotions I felt while listening to this book blew me away. The audiobook is outstanding.
Man, that’s one powerful review! Extremely thought provoking. Questions that everyone has thought. Now I’m curious! Gripping, Krystin!
Such an intense review, my goodness. You've made every thought of mine come clear in this review. I'm still so emotional and shook by this book, I don't know what to say... it is definitely the most thought provoking book I've ever read, so far.
This is an amazing review. I feel like you penned some of this from.the emotions in my head after reading and added in levels of feedback I never would be able to. Thank you for helping me understand this book better!
