Iva Dimitrova Thank you so much for this honest review! And most of all, for the well-reasoned constructive criticism, supported with examples. Believe me, this feedback is invaluable to me. I will not only take it into account for the second part of The Heart of the Troll, but I’m also considering a new edit of the first part, based on this and the other reviews I’ve received. I’m glad you enjoyed my book. Thank you for reading it, and once again, I’m truly grateful for your valuable feedback.

Hi!! I'm glad you found my review helpful and that you'll take it into account. That really makes me want to pick up the next book! I'll be happy to review the second one as well.

Iva Dimitrova Thank you so much! I do have plenty of excuses, of course – I tried not to dive too deeply into the emotions and psychology of the characters, thinking it might affect the pacing of the plot. In my debut novel, I did go deeper, and I think it turned out well, but that one is a different genre (or rather, a blend of genres). I truly appreciate your well-reasoned feedback because it gave me a new perspective on the story and the characters, and the fact that you provide examples is also extremely valuable to me as an aspiring author. So, I’ve already started considering revising The Heart of the Troll. I also really hope that the editor I reached out to (a person with serious experience and an impressive background) will have the opportunity to take a look at the final version of the book once I’ve revised it. I’d be happy to send it to you as well, along with the second part of The Heart of the Troll. Once again, thank you for taking the time to read my book and write such a detailed review. I sincerely hope that, in the future, my books will fully meet readers’ expectations — and I believe that’s achieved precisely through good feedback. So I’m truly grateful to you :)

I totally understand why you decided not to dive too deeply into their emotions. I didn't mention much about the characters themselves in my review, but I did like their personalities and how they were structured. However, more details would definitely be appreciated.

Now that you mentioned it, I will check out your debut novel.

I'd love to read both the new revised version and the second part! I'm very happy you took my review into consideration. Not everyone is mature enough to deal with feedback, and it really made me admire you a lot as an author.

If you need to reach out, you have my email on BookSirens. If you can't find it, I'd be happy to send it to you again
