I know Nathan, we've gone to dinner together. I honestly do not see how you can say this is like his Solar Clipper series. They're both in the Merchant Marine is really about the only thing that's common. Nothing else is the same.
Oh, I don't watch Fox news.
Earth is just a dystopian future, that's all. Though the book was written during the height of Covid, so yeah, government overreach was a thing.

- Now, I also found the Solar Clipper series to be more than slightly awkward and rather off-putting so I really hope this new venture by J.V.S. wont be anything like that.
