Thanks for bringing the timeline discrepancy typos to my attention. They've been fixed for the final release. Of note: the "forty years ago" line is left over from some cut history about Five's Crossing being involved in bootlegging during prohibition. Originally, the '34 murders were the '28 murders. This was cut because there was so much lore in that chapter and I felt it was going to get confusing to readers.
Oh, I gotcha! I saw at the back after I finished that you wanted people to make note of any typos or errors; I would have done better and maybe kept a log because I know for some reason some readers really get persnickety about it. Terrific story, though! I was just telling a friend of mine that I was still turning it over in my head today and making new realisations I'd missed before.
