Our question for you: What challenges have you faced as a female author, and how have you overcome them?

The biggest challenge was not getting publshed, because I worked with an all woman team. But the challenge has been men taking my book seriously enough to give me space on stages and podcasts. Women jump at the chance to talk the reality of food and health. To date only one all male podcast has invited me to speak with them.

My work is consider ground-breaking and shines a light on a group of consumers who are no longer niche. This is not your run of the mill topic and I bring solutions. There's no harm in having a conversation.
