High rec from you, Andi! I never read this author (that I can recall), but I've been curious about her work from things friends said here.

I really liked it! Her work is really good. My favorite is her Tales of the Ambha duology.
my ratio is abysmally low but i’m so excited for this book😭this is some high praise

It seems a lot of people gave it between 3 - 5. So, if you don't give it a 5 you'll probs fall in that range. I was just really feeling the whole 'escape your fate' plot lately.
