The first three books are amazing. Second and third totally blew me away. From then on is ups and downs, and the ending, for me, was a complete betrayal. But the first three are definitely worth it.

when I read this , I had to read the resto of the series , I don't recall reading any other books in between and when it was all over I was so tempted to start again
